My Eventful Today.

Oh so today I spent in Melbourne. Upon arrival we ventured to the NGV. There was something rather nice pieces that I enjoyed in the European section of the gallery. I cannot recall the artist, but a painting of a rather melancholic girl holding a pink flower was possibly the highlight of my art adventures. She just looked so miserable, as if all had failed, as if no more could go wrong. Brilliant really. There was also an exhibition on 80’s clothing. It was not very impressive at all.
After we had stumbled around the NGV for a couple of hours, we decided to head towards some Hare Krishna. Much to my disgust, both places we tried were closed. Tragic. Instead we wandered around looking for somewhere else to eat, deciding to make a stop off at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. We viewed a couple of documentaries, which were actually half decent much to my disbelief! One was on an outer suburbs Sydney family. Overrun with misfortunes and criminal activity. The second was a documentary on a haunted house in a secluded country town. Very interesting actually.
Realising I was dying from a lack of food. We ended up at the Blue Train. It was like a busy elevator! You could not move! My caesar salad was by far the greatest caesar salad I have ever consumed. Definitely worth the wait.

Also, on a different note. I am incredibly excited.
