A documentary on a precocious ingrate (Into The Wild).

I am baffled by the recent portrayals through film of societies disobedient and down right immoral. Some incredibly significant films have come from the idea of sympathising with these individualities. My most recent example would be Into The Wild. A really beautiful film when viewing it the second time (less intoxicated)! Emotionally uplifting even! But! How significantly paradoxical of him, taking such a tool of civilisation as a gun into the wild to slay those wild animals. ALSO! This whole symbolic burning of the cash. Surely passing it along to Oxfam with his $24,000 life savings would have been the intellectual approach. An the sudden termination of communication with his family! Does anybody not see what I am talking about! Again, don’t get me wrong. What a emotively empowering film.

What next though? A documentary on a man whose continuous use of auto-erotic asphyxiation that eventually leads to his death? Somehow making the audience sympathetic to his condition? Bah! I just do not understand.

Although I am anticipating this film greatly, I almost have a sort of stigma on The Killing of John Lennon. Are they going to swing the audience so to sympathise his situation/condition also!?!?!?

I am just envious of the magnitude of their actions no doubt.

Over and out children.

I think I some what agree... he was selfish... he let the ones who loved him suffer because he couldnt deal with life.. maybe he found God out there and I hope he did, but it was a selfish act and a rebellion I think you should take the good words he had and learn from the stupidity of it...
